This is a  fantastic opportunity for a commercially oriented and customer centric sales individual to join our rapidly growing and evolving Top Placement team. 

Top Placement enables eligible restaurant partners to help them grow their orders in their preferred suburbs by positioning the Menulog unique sponsored link tool as a key driver to optimise their visibility to the Menulog customer. 

You will make structured calls by using insights provided in data dashboards, pitch the product and close the sale. You will also ensure restaurants are satisfied with the product performance by analysing data and talking to them regularly, ensuring that not only Menulog drives revenue growth but also our restaurants partners generate incremental orders.

What you will be doing :-

  • Drive adoption of the Top Placement bidding tool among our restaurant partners, ensuring they become regular users
  • Grow revenue in your assigned territories, ensuring that, at a minimum, revenue targets are achieved
  • Identify new business opportunities by extracting insights from available data
  • Ensure high restaurant partner satisfaction, both in terms of product performance as well as service delivery
  • Provide an excellent customer service, respond to Restaurant Partner inbounds (leads, complaints and enquiries) in a timely and thorough manner
  • Ensure top placement eligibility criteria are understood, in order to ensure that our customers also benefit from ordering from top placement restaurants
  • Be an ambassador of Top Placement within the company, connecting with other areas of the business both nationally and internationally, to ensure cross-functional alignment around the product value proposition and the way it is marketed

What you need to have to be successful in this role :-

  • Previous telesales experience with demonstrated track record of hitting revenue targets
  • Commercial attitude, reaching revenue targets fires you up!
  • Great communication skills, you are able to pitch over the phone, generate trust and build rapport with a restaurant owner and capable of dealing with a challenging conversation
  • A drive to do right by the Restaurant Partner, account management experience prefered
  • A positive and proactive attitude, capable of delivering under pressure, joining a business that is growing 70% year on year 
  • Analytical mindset, you are comfortable navigating through data and you are capable of extracting insights to help you make good decisions.
  • Team player, you know what a good team dynamic looks like.
