An exciting opportunity has recently been created for a Business Development Manager / Account Manager to join the Cairns based Remote Staffing Solutions (RSS) and Community Apprenticeships Australia (CAA) team. Both RSS and CAA are part of the My Pathway group and are one of Australia’s leading providers of on-hire labour and managed apprenticeship services.

The My Pathway group is a family owned business, now employing over 1300 people nationally. We provide staffing, labour hire, apprenticeships, training, construction and health services in regional and remote areas of Australia.

With our mainstream expansion program now well underway, the Cairns Business Development / Account Manager is a critical member of our team. You will work closely with our employment and training team to provide efficient and effective client support and coordination for both labour hire and apprenticeship placements. This role will promote, encourage and provide a high level of customer service to client businesses and key stakeholders.

To be successful in this role we’d like you to possess:

• An understanding of the on-hire recruitment / labour hire industry.
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes
• Excellent administration skills with strong MS office and computer literacy.
• Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to both build and manage external employer relationships.
• Demonstrated organisational and time coordination skills, be self-driven, results- orientated and have a positive outlook on life.
• A clean Driver’s Licence

Previous experience in a labour hire organisation or related recruitment or apprenticeship business is important for this position. You will need to be comfortable with bulk recruiting, client engagement and maintaining a sales focus in all your activities.
