As we are about to launch an exciting and strategic national growth plan, we are able to provide a unique opportunity for a Business Development/Sales Officer to join our Maroochydore team. Our new team member will possess the experience and skills to cover the full range of our activities, with an emphasis on managing the business development process including bringing on new organisations and business partners.

This role will offer you a chance to work alongside passionate ‘best practice’ leaders who share a focus on the delivery of high level support structures and career development for their team members. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new business opportunities and referrals by identifying and calling organisations;
  • Build rapport with new businesses
  • Provide potential business partners with information and options to enable them to make informed decisions about establishing a partnership with FAA
  • Provide a warm handover to the Franchise Sales Team

ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS:

  • Comfortable communicating with business professionals in high-level management;
  • Be capable of strategic sales planning and delivery of goals and strategies;
  • Commercial business acumen and an ambitious personality ;
  • Self-starter and self-motivated to chase every opportunity and never give up;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily with clients;
  • Effective administration and time management skills;
  • Highly organised and the ability to succeed in achieving set goals;
  • You must be extremely diligent with your ‘attention to detail’;
  • Good computer skills and knowledge (particularly Excel) and ability to learn new systems;
  • Strong maths skills will be an advantage;
  • Strong problem solving skills – ability to think outside the square;
  • You need to be a motivated and focused individual looking for a challenge in a fast-paced working environment; and most of all
  • Integrity – you must be a person that can be successful whilst being honest and ethical.
