The Company

Centurion Garage Doors is Australia’s largest privately owned garage door manufacturer operating nationally, servicing the domestic door market for over 40 years. We are currently expanding our business significantly and are looking to recruit an experienced business development professional to assist in recruiting and growing our Garage Door Dealer network across NSW. With over 80 established dealers/resellers in our network, we have a proven product and established distribution network based out of our new QLD manufacturing facility.

 

About the Role

A truly exciting position exists for an experienced Business Development Manager with a clear focus on new reseller/dealer recruitment. With a well established business distributing across NSW, we are now seeking to significantly grow our existing reseller/dealer network and require a sales star to help us do that.

 

For the first 12 months this role will focus on recruitment, to build up a larger customer network, and then shift focus to coaching and managing the new recruits as well as our existing client network. A mobile role will require significant travel, but with the opportunity to be based in a home office initially, the establishment of an operational branch in Sydney is the end goal of the company.

 

Key Objectives

  • Recruit new reseller/dealer across NSW in a strategic manner
  • Identify new opportunities for business expansion
  • Coach and mentor new reseller/dealers
  • Support and service key clients

 

Who we are looking for

  • Have a proven history of recruiting new clients
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Background in reseller/franchise recruitment
  • Understanding of the building industry
  • Outstanding sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Based from home initially
