Our client an industry association specialist experienced at organising exceptional Trade Shows, Exhibitions and Conferences on behalf of industry bodies are currently looking for an experienced hungry and driven Sales Representative. Our clients focus is to build strong partnerships with key players in each industry group in order to maximise the potential in every market, for the benefit of the industry.

Reporting to the Sales Director some of your duties will include:

  • Sale of exhibition space for a range of trade shows and expos as required (all phone based contact)
  • Contact existing exhibitor prospects and leads on the sales database
  • Source new leads to help grow the exhibitor database
  • Respond and follow-up inbound enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain sales database in accordance with company procedures
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance, targets and sales projections
  • Regular follow-up on sales to secure signed contracts & deposits for all sales within agreed timelines
  • YOU will get to attend the various Exhibitions and Trade Shows to meet the Exhibitors and ensure everything is running smoothly

The successful candidate will have:

  • You MUST come from a strong sales background with proven results
  • Ideally you will have an events or hospitality background or similar
  • You will demonstrate a flexible approach to your working arrangements to ensure a successful event outcome
  • You will have strong administrative skills with an eye for detail
  • Sound working knowledge of the MS Office suite
  • Strong time management skills and highly reliable

You will enjoy working as part of a small, close knit team and set high standards and expectations for yourself. Working closely with the Events Coordinator you will ensure accurate administration delivery of tasks are achieved.
