The George Kerferd in Mayday Hills, Beechworth offers guests a true hotel experience with 52 rooms of accommodation, large function and event spaces, conference rooms, restaurant and bar.
Since opening in 2013 the family business set in 20 hectares of heritage listed gardens in Mayday Hills has experienced significant growth.
We believe strongly in caring for the environment, utilising local and in season produce and producing menus and dishes that are interesting and exciting.
The Business Development Manager will work closely with management to achieve key sales targets predominantly for our conference and event business.
The successful candidate must have:
- At least 4-5 years experience in hospitality and or sales
- High standard of presentation and productivity
- A desire to continuously learn and improve
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience in budget management and implementation
- Strong communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Good leadership skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
- Ability to multi task and think on your feet
