About the role:

As a Business Development Manager for our Microsoft Surface Portfolio you will be working as an integral part of the Microsoft Team and reporting to the Product Director; where you will be relied upon to drive Microsoft Surface Hardware sales through MS Surface Partners and evangelising the MS Surface portfolio within Synnex as the device sales specialist.


The responsibilities of this role will entail:

  • Focus on new partner acquisition to define and on-board new partners that will benefit to Synnex and Microsoft
  • Attention to Partner sales growth and develop new business relationships across the Microsoft Surface Device portfolio
  • Work with Microsoft to learn and become a subject matter expert on new Microsoft end user technology
  • Evangelise and train internal Synnex BDM’s on the surface portfolio and pricing programs
  • Participate and lead in planned sales training and development activities  
  • Support the Surface product manager to drive and promote sales promotions and activities
  • Assist key Partners with Microsoft end-user presentations and sales calls
  • Provide input and participation in QBR’s

 

You will need to possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business or IT will be highly regarded
  • Proven capability to build effective business relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve budgets and KPIs set
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills
  • A proactive & flexible attitude that is prepared to assist & work with other team members
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills – including presenting information to multiple stakeholders and groups
