ABOUT THE COMPANY
A Brisbane based supplier of Welding, Light & Heavy Metal Fabrication and latest technology Engineering services. The Sales Technician role is Workshop based, Off the Tools and suited for those looking for a long term rewarding Career. We are looking for someone who has the proven capability managing high volumes of sales, quotations and estimation of a variety of materials, including Carbon steel, Mild steel, Stainless steel, Galvanised steel, Zinc coated steel, Aluminium, Copper & Brass. A good knowledge is also needed of complementary materials and accessories, such as timber, plastics, glass and machined surface finishes like galvanised, zinc or powder coatings.
PROFESSIONAL & SALES SKILLS
- Trade Qualified (Must Supply Trade Papers) Sheet Metal / Boilermaker
- Minimum of 10+ Years Hands-On Experience in Metal Fabrication
- Sales Experience Essential. Competent with All-round Quoting & Estimating
- Business Owners/Management Backgrounds are Highly Regarded
- Experience placing Material Orders, Tendering, Procurement of Equipment
- Familiar with Design Aspects of Sheet Metal Fabrication and Installation
- Mature, Self Motivated and Works well Autonomously / No Supervision
- Multi-Tasker, Manage Multiple Procedural Tasks & Clients Simultaneously
- Works Well in Meeting ALL Deadlines - Exceptional Time Management
- Very High Level Communication Skills - Verbal and Written
- Very Strong Computer Skills - Microsoft Word and Excel Capable
- Strong Team Player, with Leadership Qualities & Character
- Punctual, Reliable, Hard Working & KPI driven Results Focused
