Our client has been exciting its customers by creating innovative product that have been a staple piece in every Australian household for over 30 years. A brand sold to millions in over 32 countries worldwide, they are the respective category leader in their space. With an incredible amount of NPD in place + new product set to hit the market, this organisation is not slowing down.
This brand new position will present the successful candidate a breadth of responsibility & ownership. You will be the main communicator & account manager between the organisation and MSO Groups, Metcash & Independent Grocers. An exciting challenge for an FMCG professional, this rewarding environment will suit a proven Independent Grocery pioneer.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence through the Independent grocery channel
- Drive selling initiatives across stores
- Develop long term business strategy within the network
- Maintaining business by developing and building relationships with existing clients
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to develop and manage solutions for clients
- Preparing and presenting proposals
- Manage accounts across the Victoria
- Reporting, budgeting and planning for growth
- Execute all brand and promotional strategies
Desired Skills and Experience
- Ability to develop strategic relationships (large scale across large accounts)
- Able to identify and develop key growth plans
- History of building relationships (both internally and externally)
- MUST possess an expert understanding of Independent/Grocery retailers and the FMCG industry
- Sharp, focussed and self motivated
