The client
Our client is a market leader in power generation & temperature control solutions both across Australia and globally. They service a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, mining & resources as well as one off events. Due to a recent departure they currently require a Sales Consultant to join their Kalgoorlie Sales team.
The Role
Reprrting to the Sales Manager, with responsibility for servicing the Kalgoorlie and Goldfields region, you will be responsible for the management of an existing sales portfolio, developing sales and marketing initiatives to ensure growth within your customer network. You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Identifying, evaluating, and acquiring new business and expanding existing services within the organisation.
- Building and managing a successful sales pipeline
- Action and follow up RFQs
- Solution Selling - managing the 360 sales process
- Account management – maintaining and developing existing customer base
- Tracking work in progress keeping customers informed of timescales
Requirements
The role requires someone with a proven track record in a similar sales role preferably within the electrical or hire industry. You will have experience in technical sales and solution selling. The successful candidate will be required to have a strong drive and be self-motivated. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Experience within a similar role, preferably with detailed exposure in WA’s hire industry
- Strong sales experience with ability to convert business
- Proven track record in converting B2B sales and bringing in new business
- Strong customer focus with the ability to grow existing client base
- Knowledge of the WA O&G/Mining resources market
- Ability to work autonomously and implement successful sales strategies
- Experience and understanding within the electrical/power generation market
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Full driving licence
