BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ROLE
Primary Purpose:
Are you a competitive individual looking to take on a business development and sales role in a fast growing, progressive company? If so, we require a candidate to generate growth in our growing company. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue for the organisation by managing your time efficiently to meet set expectations and KPI’s, qualifying prospects, servicing and maintaining new customers, and coordinating with the sales support team to secure a consistent flow of new clients. As a business development sales representative, you will also be required to monitor sales competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, and other affiliated tasks.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- “Getting the Sale” using various customer sales methods
- Identifying and evaluating customer needs and building productive, long lasting relationships
- Meet personal and team targets
- Work with in house lead generation team to qualify prospects
- Work with sales support teams to deliver company objectives (eg. Quote turnaround times)
- Attend scheduled team meetings
- Report daily activity via CRM
- Expand client data base within assigned territory
- Weekly submission of timesheets
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience working with CRM program
- Familiarity with different sales techniques and sales pipeline management
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and driven
- Superior product knowledge
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- Provide a positive company image to the customers
- Identify and resolve client concerns

Salary:
- Salary package based on skill set plus commission structure according to sales performance.
