The Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) role within the Recognition team is to lead sales processes, inspire success and underpin the achievement of the Recognition BU new business target sales.

Description
- Clear leadership of sales opportunities from identification to close
- Consistent lead nurturing tools and techniques
- The building of a sustainable pipeline covering target achievement and stage maturity leading to conversion of opportunities to won deals
- Managing all internal and external stakeholders through the sales process
- Work with our local Professional Services and Customer Success teams to manage an effective and smooth handover for ongoing program operation.
- Demonstrate sales excellence in helping drive the sales function
Profile
- Deep and demonstrable experience of solution selling
- An understanding of SaaS-based software solutions
- Experience selling to the HR Sector
- You have been a sales leader, either by title or position within a team
- Able to hunt for new opportunities by yourself through any and all channels
- A network of contacts within the target horizontal that we are selling
- Ability to interrogate a prospect’s requirements (Need and Want) and create highly desirable solutions
- An understanding of Employee Recognition, Reward and Engagement principles and market opportunities is desirable
- You have led responses to multi-million dollar RFPs and RFQs
