As a global leader this company has an excellent reputation for its highly reliable products and engineered solutions offered to its clients.  Working within a cohesive and collaborative team environment, the organisation designs, engineers and commissions power generation solutions for its customers across numerous sectors including commercial buildings, heavy industry, defence, mining and energy.  Due to organic growth and a number of major projects being secured the company is expanding its sales team.  

Job tasks and responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Manager / Sales Consultant will be accountable for responding to tenders and customer enquiries in addition to further developing relationships with current customers. 

This is a hands business development role and will suit a talented sales specialist, sales engineer or sales manager who has ideally worked within a company that provides key industrial equipment and integrated balance of plant solutions. Some of your current clients may include major commercial builders, engineering consultancies and electrical contractors.  

Skills and experience

As a highly motivated Technical Sales Consultant, Applications Engineer or Sales Manager you will have had proven success in providing innovative solutions for your business customers, developing exisiting relationships and securing new clients.  Ideally you will have worked with qualified engineers or within an organisation that offers turn key engineering solutions for its customers.  This may include large scale mechanical or electrical equipment used within industrial, manufacturing or power generation applications.  A mechanical or electrical Trade qualification or a Degree in business or engineering would be well regarded. A genuine interest in helping customers achieve their goals will have made you stand out as one of the top performers in your current sales team.
