With a national sales team, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to lead the relationships with merchants across our Melbourne landscape.

Reporting to the highly engaging State Sales Manager, you will not only be mentored through this position, but will also be buddied up with another Account Manager, so you can dually support both builders and merchants within your allocated region, ensuring that you achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration. No day will be the same; you will understand the market segment and engage with your contacts to secure new business and new accounts.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build strong, productive customer relationships through face to face sales calls and agreed service standards Manage client accounts by building and maintaining strong relationships with merchants .
  • Maintain an awareness of competitors and monitor their activities
  • Develop and implement individual business plans to meet yield, revenue and market share budgets; implement sales strategies; take steps to remove barriers and/or correct potential shortfalls in the achievement of objectives.
  • Manage and grow existing business through acquisition of new merchants.
  • Analyses territory potential and achieve optimal potential of existing and prospective merchants .
  • Establishes develops and maintains business relationships with current merchants and prospective merchants in assigned territory to generate new business.
  • Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
  • Plans and organises personal sales strategy by maximising the return on time investment for the territory/segment.
  • Carry out additional activities associate with the sales plan, business requirements and key projects and initiatives.
