The opportunity;

Are you a high performing sales person who loves coaching and up-skilling others but you don't want to do the day to day sales anymore? 

We are a dynamic and exciting business that is growing fast (last year we tripled in size) and we're hiring for an exciting new position in our Sydney office.  The Sales Trainer is an internal sales expert who will partner with assigned teams to help assess, measure and enhance the performance and effectiveness of sales teams and management, through a mix of individual, group and ‘front of class’ training and coaching. 

This role will partner with the entire sales team and has a clear link to the bottom line of the Sydney office; with the opportunity to make a huge impact on our sales performance.  We use Sandler and Command of the Message methodologies, therefore experience with at least one of these (or similar) would be an advantage, but not essential

Key to this role will be an ability to analyse and understand sales performance data and develop and deliver targeted initiatives to address performance gaps using coaching and training techniques. Implementing and reporting on effective engagements, being proactive and building strong relationships with the sales team and leadership as well as managing your time effectively are important.

If this is you we’d love to hear from you:

  • Related University degree
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of recent high performance Sales experience, preferably in SaaS / IT environment
  • Some Training/Mentoring/Coaching experience would be a distinct advantage, but not essential
  • Minimum of 2 years of Management or team lead experience
  • A strong grasp on consultative selling methodologies (such as Sandler, Command of the Message etc)
