This is a rare opportunity to build a national air freight business. Our client is a major provider of supply chain services with the air freight operations still in the embryonic stage. Location: Northern Suburbs, Melbourne.
Your role will entail devising & implementing an appropriate business structure; overseeing the resourcing of the branch network; executing strategies to grow sales & marketshare; and personally, contributing to securing new major customers/ contracts. The role will cover both import & export with a particular focus on manufactured goods.
You should possess appropriate Tertiary qualifications complimented with substantial sales & management experience specializing in Air Freight. Knowledge on the importation of manufactured goods, essential. You will possess commercial acumen; leadership qualities; strategic vision; and advanced negotiating skills.
