Tweet World Travel Pty. Ltd was founded by our Director Thuy Carroll in 2012. Our company is wholly South Australian-owned, with our head office in Adelaide, South Australia. We are one of the leading Australian travel Wholesalers for Vietnam and Tour Operators for Asia and we now represent CroisiEurope within the Australian market.

 

Due to an exciting expansion of our business we are currently seeking a full-time Business Development Manager for Queensland and Western Australia, this exciting role allows you to work from home with a requirement to travel domestic and international from time to time. In this role, you will be instrumental in growing our agency partners, utilising rapport and local knowledge, as well as creating sales opportunities for our business. Reporting to the National Business Development Manager, you will actively seek out new business, follow up and convert enquiries to achieve sales and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving sales through our agencies for the purpose of increasing sales, in the local, interstate and international travel agency markets.
  • Prospect for new business via phone & face to face meetings.
  • Preparing proposals for agencies and businesses.
  • Proactively grow and maintain a portfolio of travel agents across your states
  • Promote all products of Tweet World Travel
  • Monitor competitor activities
  • Deliver on targets and create long lasting relationships with our travel agents.
  • Generate reports as requested by management
  • Represent Tweet World Travel at industry and client events where required
  • Working within a team environment and contributing to sales and marketing strategies

 

The successful applicant must possess:

  • A passion for sales and driving new business
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external clients
  • A track record of increasing sales and building business in designated markets to 'hit the ground running'.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • High level of attention to detail as well as an outgoing friendly nature
  • Effective time management skills and experience in liaising with multiple stakeholders and managing a portfolio of major accounts.
  • The ability to actively hunt and secure new business
  • Strong administration and coordination skills and have the ability to prioritise and achieve deadlines
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and pride yourself in going above and beyond for the team at large
  • Flexibility to work from home. 
  • An understanding of the travel & hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft office
  • A passion for and commitment to delivering exceptional, pro-active service.
  • Experience working independently and as part of an energetic, hands on sales team
  • You will be required to use your own vehicle and we will reimbursed business costs for fuel.

Base Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.000 + Commission = 100k+ OTE  Salary is negotiable based on experienced.
