Ausco Modular is a market leader in the modular building industry, providing complete customer solutions through a unique capability in building hire, sale, manufacture, construction, project management and managed accommodation.

We are seeking an exceptional Business Development Manager to focus on developing Sale opportunities across all traditional and emerging markets in QLD and specifically Health & Aged Care, M&R, C&I, Education, and Sport & Community.

Based in our Riverview office, we are looking for a passionate and committed person to drive forward sales and increase revenue in QLD.

You will work with clients, architects, specifiers and building designers to maximise opportunities for modular building construction within QLD.

With a focus on emerging and sustainable growth markets, you will focus on best methodology and suitable strategies to achieve this across the region. 

A sound understanding of the building and construction industry will position you well in terms of developing customer orientated modular solutions.  You will create and manage lead generation initiatives and bring new ideas to the QLD market, and play a role in all Tender and EOI opportunities.

The person we are looking for will have:

  • Minimum 7 years in a business development role with a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • A practical knowledge of building and construction.
  • Experience in Bid Management and responding to tenders.
  • Proven track record of developing sales and customer partnerships
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database experience
  • Demonstrated resilience, tenacity and professionalism.
  • A proactive attitude and mature work ethic that will role model and drive professional workplace behaviours aligned with our values.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to be flexible, agile and “muck in and help” in a small vibrant team
  • Demonstrated behaviours in support of company values of Teamwork, Care, Ownership, Respect and Excellence.
