Senior Business Development Manager

360DMG is a media planning and buying agency located in Bondi Junction. Established in 2007, we are a fast paced growth business, we have a passionate team that thrives on the challenge of delivering innovative solutions for our clients. We are looking for a talented and motivated
contributor to help us expand our clientele, 3rd party agencies and other networks.

As the Business Development Manager, your key purpose is to generate new business for the agency. The ability to source your own leads will help you be successful in this role, combined with the advantage of introductions into the 360DMG networks. 

This position will see you reporting to the Head of New Business and working closely with the 360DMG team to achieve targets. 

This position requires hard work and a dedication to excellence.

Job responsibilities: 

  • Create opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients, large and small
  • Maintain, strengthen and account manage existing networks and referral networks
  • Communicate our business offerings to creative and PR agencies in a highly engaging manner
  • Play a proactive role in the after sales process by managing campaign success and revenue growth
  • Report and track all revenue including sales activity and deal pipelines

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong Sales ability
  • Strong background in media or similar industry would be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; and
  • Positive motivation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to pitch proposals and secure clients  
  • Good understanding of media process
  • An understanding of the Australian media landscape 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce 

Our Business Development Managers operate a 180 methodology whereby, you be responsible for business generation, acquisition, pre-qualification, etc. 

You will be strongly encouraged to view your 'desk' as your own business operating within the 360DMG business at large. As such, you will be trained on the optimum metrics by which to run and grow your business sequentially in order to maximize revenues thus ensuring your success.
