Key Account Manager – (Career opportunity)

Our rejuvenated client was established in 1973 and is the authentic provider of organic, natural and health products in Australia. Our mission is to discover, develop and deliver products that are good for you, good for your family, good for our communities and better for our environment. We have invested heavily in infrastructure over the past 12 months to position us for the next exciting chapter of our 45 year old brand and we have the opportunity for an experienced full time Key Account Manager to join our team.

The Key Account Manager role exists to drive the sales performance of our established but growing customer base in Australia, you will be responsible for Pharmacy and Distribution channels

Major responsibilities include;

  • Develop sales and profit growth plans with key account groups and executing those plans through a close working relationships.
  • Creating mutually beneficial relationships with key single and multi-store owners to build business and brand awareness of Kadac represented brands.
  • Proactively discuss monthly deals and new products with your customers with a strong focus on our key brands.
  • Increase distribution of Kadac products in your channels, working to agreed monthly priorities.
  • Source and develop new customers in their channels, building robust business plans to grow their sales
  • Provide feedback on customer performance, service requirements, product needs and opportunities through strong communication and clearly documented work plans

The successful applicant will have;

  • Significant sales experience for a global or national FMCG business
  • Account Management experience preferably in the Pharmacy and Distribution channels
  • Strong business acumen and analysis skills to identify and manage opportunities.
  • Excellent presentation and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage business travel.
  • Ability to lead and influence relationships with stakeholders at all levels; including negotiation, handling objections and managing challenging conversations effectively and diplomatically
  • Proven time management skills
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a team environment and meet agreed service level benchmarks
  • A knowledge of, and passion for organic, natural and health products is advantageous but not essential
