We are currently searching for an experienced Sales Executive with networks and current clients within the Mining / construction, O&G sector. Ideally you are currently working for or have past experience dealing with safety equipment servicing these sectors.

The successful applicant can be based out of Mackay, Townsville or Cairns and will be fully responsible for creating new business opportunities and developing strategies to secure existing and new clients alike in those regions. This is a perfect opportunity for a motivated individual to get involved in this secure and well respected dynamic International organisation with excellent career growth opportunities.

This is an autonomous role and you will enjoy building new relationships along with maintaining established business partners. The company has an excellent organisational culture and places a great emphasis on ensuring all employees are content within the group. The right person will be driven and innovative, and will enjoy successfully working both autonomously and within a team environment to produce organisational and personal goals.

Ideally the candidate will possess all of the following skills and attributes.

•Strong Sales background with experience growing new business
•Experience in Safety products
•Experience supplying and selling a product or service to the Construction, O&G/mining sector.
•Top level reporting skills to Senior Management.
•Stay abreast of competitor changes, market drivers and formulate strategic plans to ensure the company capitalizes on all business opportunities to the region.
•Team player and ability to work with a technical team and support network to ensure project delivery standards are maintained.
•Exposure and understanding of how to penetrate a range of market sectors.
•Excellent communication skills
•Commercial awareness and business savvy is important.
