The Role

We have an opportunity in Sydney for a skilled Account Manager; ideally with experience in the technology industry, to join the Sales Team.  Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this is the right role for a candidate who is passionate about technology and all it can achieve, but who also loves to set a personal target and the challenge of exceeding them.

This position's responsibilities include:

• Sales - Business growth by sourcing and winning new customers.  Conducting pipeline development to ensure steady business growth. Scoping and quoting rental deals. Convert enquiries to sales, and sales to repeat business.

• Client Relationship Management - Developing and maintaining a CRM to develop a long-term relationship with our clients and identify opportunities for repeat business.   Managing, growing and developing an excellent relationship with potential and current accounts.

• Work Coordination - Ensuring the equipment fulfilment of jobs won, by scheduling the technical team to deliver, install and collect rental equipment.

• Market Tracking - Monitoring and reporting on industry changes and competitor activity.

The successful candidate will have:

• A thorough working knowledge and experience in B2B sales, account management and phone sales techniques.

• The ability to accurately prepare quotes.

• Strong client relationship skills with the ability to provide our clients with outstanding service delivery.

• An outgoing personality and be highly skilled in people relationship skills and the ability to influence decision-makers at multiple levels.

• Exceptional planning and organisational skills to ensure that jobs are completed on time, and to the required scheduled delivery times.

• A track record in achieving strong technical sales.

The ideal person for this role would be someone who:

• Has had a technical background in IT & AV,  however, this is not essential,

• Is a friendly person with a robust professional presence

• Excels in conveying technical knowledge to non-technical users both verbally or in writing,

• Enjoys going above and beyond the call of duty to exceed client expectations, and

• Who has a strong professional drive and a high focus on customer service.
