The Role

One of our group companies is seeking a result focused individual to drive sales of various electrical products such as electrical motors, pumps, gear boxes and VSDs.

  
Responsibilities

• Manage a small team of 4 -5 Sales Personnel.
• Accountability for maintaining and expanding NSW metro and regional area.
• Developing new and existing customer base including cold calling and regular call cycles.
• Sales, Marketing and Business Development to achieve the financial targets set by the management and sustainable growth of the business.
• Expansion of the business in to other geographical areas and industries.
• Manage and mentor a team of the Sales Engineers.  

About you

As an experienced Sales Manager, you will work closely with and manage the sales team and focus on market positioning and achieving set budgets. You must demonstrate the ability to identify opportunities for sustainable and profitable growth and ability to build strong relationship with all stake holders.

To be considered for this role, you have:
 

• A strong sales background with a proven track record in electrical motors, pumps, gear boxes or similar industry.
• The capability to develop new business whilst maintaining existing customer relationships.
• The ability to meet and surpass sales targets on a consistent basis.
• Good communication skills, a high level of organization ability commercial and negotiation skills.
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams.
• Drive and ambition, willing to learn and grow their knowledge base and skills in the industry and show a desire to develop their career.
