As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we also provide customised training to help employers maximise the skills and capabilities of their talent through staff development.
Position purpose:
The purpose of this role is to work in partnership with MPP’s clients and stakeholders to initiate professional development opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the workforce.
About you:
We are looking for a business development professional who has proven relationship building and consulting skills within the Human Capital space. You will have proven experience engaging with institutions (including government and the corporate sector) to identify new educational & training opportunities.
To be successful in this exciting new position, you will also have:
- Passion and drive to be an approachable and engaging BDM
- Can-do attitude with strong initiative and business acumen
- The ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders to scope opportunities and develop high quality training solutions to deliver business growth
Essential skills, experience and responsibilities:
- Proven experience in a business development and solutions selling role, ideally within the B2B training, learning and development areas
- Experience in working with universities/training providers and corporates to build collaborative, solutions based partnerships would be ideal
- Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Qualification or experience equivalent to an Australian post-graduate award, ideally with a business focus
- Proven track record in securing new business opportunities, meeting targets and objectives
- Experience in managing and developing long term sustainable relationships with key stakeholders in Human Resources, Learning and Development
Other Information:
Labour Day, Queen's Birthday and Melbourne Cup day are normal working days, without penalty payments for time worked. Five days leave (accrued at 1⅔ per public holiday worked) will be granted in lieu, to be usually taken on the days falling between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Contract: 12 month full time fixed term
Location: Based in Melbourne City with travel between campuses (Caulfield/Clayton) required.
Position Classification: General Staff Level 6, Salary: $95,759 – $110,122 plus super
