Retail Independent Account Manager SANDHURST FINE FOODS

Sandhurst Fine Foods is seeking a full time retail manager who can join our team to provide increased sales and focus to our rapidly growing retail division.
Based in Miranda, you will have significant experience in dealing with independent retailers and have knowledge of the demands of retailers and category management in the retail sector.
Specifically, the Job Purpose is to bring continuous focus to profitably expanding sales in the Retail Category.
- The Key Results Areas for this role are:
- Drive Revenue and margin growth:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients;
- Prepare and conduct business and range reviews;
- Design, prepare and implement Promotional Programs/Demonstrations
- Prepare and submit relevant documentation including tenders;
- Sell and maintain ranging of Sandhurst retail products
- Travel to Canberra/Newcastle/Wollongong to create ranging opportunities
- Store checks in retail (Merchandising Role)
- Create a blueprint for interstate expansion of the retail model.
- Any candidate selected will have a three month trial period. During the trial period they will be measured against performance goals linked to set targets.
As an experienced retail manager you will possess the following attributes:
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to take a practical, pragmatic and "hands-on" approach
- Part of team, being able to work collaboratively with other parts of the organisation
- Successful track record in category management and experience in FMCG or retail industry
- Knowledge about the industry and target markets
- Good analytical skills and decision making skills;
- An entrepeneurial approach to business and working independently.
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all teams within the business
- A team leader, able to inspire others
- Be able to manage different projects at the same time
- Be an energetic self-starter
- Solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity
