About the opportunity

The National Sales Director reports to the Managing Director and is a critical member of the Australia/New Zealand executive team.  This position has overall responsibility for the strategic growth plan of the Australian and New Zealand market, in line with the Australia and New Zealand Operating Plan.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overall responsibility to set, monitor and manage company sales KPI’s across all key elements of the business (e.g. Sales, Recruiting & Promoting).
  • Manage the setting of Senior Manager goals based on Company “Plan”
  • Overall responsibility to ensure growth plans are achieved at each level of the consultants career path
  • Monitor and track all Agents throughout all regions, understanding key performance indicator trends in order to proactively address issues through strategic business planning
  • Manage the proactive development of growth strategies in each region
  • Coach and motivate Regional Sales Managers for continued growth based on their development needs and experience
  • Support the training team in developing the training needs of the business
  • Participate in managing Sales training at company run events
  • Oversee and assist in the development, training and appointment of new Agents and Senior Managers
  • Manage geographic expansion within all Regions based on population growth and sales force presence and penetration.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Tertiary Qualification in a Business Management discipline
  • Previous experience in a senior sales manager role
  • Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in a direct selling environment
  • Personal experience in selling and recruiting in a party plan system
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate others
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to target different audiences
  • Engaging presentation style
  • Excellent project management skills
