Built around the vision and passion of its founders, Artisan Drinks is an entrepreneurial beverage business, recently launched in the UK and Australia.
We're an eclectic mix of experts within our fields, including successful entrepreneurs, blue-chip brand marketers, an internationally recognised artist and multi-award winning bar operator. Your New Role
Reporting to the Country Manager Australia, your new business development role is central to a young, fast growing business and best suited to a "hunter", not a gatherer.
Whilst the role requires some strategising and planning, your key focus is on sales execution: identifying, engaging with and converting customers across Australia's premium bars, hotels and restaurants. Your key measures of performance are growth in product distribution and sales revenue.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Identifying target venues (think cool, trendy, classic) and their key decision makers
- Securing meetings with key decision makers and presenting, promoting and selling the Artisan Drinks range. (You have fallen in love with the Artisan brand, so this will come naturally)
- Building strong relationships with customers and wholesalers. They will trust you, respect you, and probably even like you!
- Identifying and securing promotional and sales opportunities at key trade and consumer events
- Tracking, analysing and reporting results against budget. Your don't just tick boxes - you add value with your insights
- Ensuring the swift resolution of customer service issues
- Keeping aware of market and competitor activity and working with management to respond appropriately

Skills and experience
- You're a target driven "hunter" of new business with a successful track record selling new products to new customers, preferably in hospitality
- You have excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor your message and your style to suit the audience
- You're highly motivated, hard working and free-spirited with infectious enthusiasm. You're a creative problem solver with a tenacious, can-do attitude
- You love working in or with the hospitality sector: bars, hotels, restaurants
- Whilst you're a self-starter and can work independently, you're also a team player who knows how to collaborate effectively
- You have the right to work permanently in Australia
