SGS Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Executive to join our Minerals team, based in Perth. In this role, you will be responsible for the growth and development opportunities for our Minerals division by focussing on new and exciting business opportunities and working with them to close out sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the National Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying and assessing new business opportunities and identifying the most appropriate sales tactics to complete the sale;
• Develop relationships with existing customers so as to identify and close developmental sales opportunities
• Create documented sales plans for all targeted customers
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide 100% commitment to customer service.
• Develop and maintain CRM records.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

To be considered for this role, you must be focussed on leading, driving and completing sales. In addition you will also demonstrate the following:
• Hold relevant tertiary qualifications
• Demonstrable experience in Sales or Business Development.
• Extensive experience in business to business sales.
• Previous experience within a Minerals environment.

Please note that travel throughout remote and regional Australia may be required (interstate and local) on occasion
