State Sales Manager in HVAC (Air Conditioning)

You will be joining a company that is a market leader in the HVAC air conditioning industry. Due to continual growth this organisation is looking for a determined and ambitious sales professional to join the Melbourne based team. Your new role
- Prospect for potential new customers and turn this into increased business.
- Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Meet potential customers by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Identify potential customers and the decision makers within the customer organisation.
- Prospect for new business, present to them, ultimately convert them into customers, and continue to grow business.
- Plan approaches and pitches, work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the customer’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Participate and lead where necessary in pricing the product or the overall value proposition.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements and working through differences to reach a definite win/win solution.
- Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics
What you'll need to succeed
- Sectorial experience in technical-sales experience in the air conditioning industry
- Graduated in Engineering (building construction, mechanical) or Architect will be a bonus
- Ambitious, hardworking and eager to learn.
- You will have a passion for sales and business development.
- You will have experience with working with different business channels and building new ones
- You will be able to manage a team and create startegic business plans
- You will have strong interpersonal skills and have a technical mind in regards to the construction industry
