State Sales Manager in HVAC (Air Conditioning)

You will be joining a company that is a market leader in the HVAC air conditioning industry. Your new role

  • Prospect for potential new customers and turn this into increased business.
  • Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Meet potential customers by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Identify potential customers and the decision makers within the customer organisation.
  • Prospect for new business, present to them, ultimately convert them into customers, and continue to grow business.
  • Plan approaches and pitches, work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the customer’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Participate and lead where necessary in pricing the product or the overall value proposition.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements and working through differences to reach a definite win/win solution.
  • Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics



What you'll need to succeed

  • Sectorial experience in technical-sales experience in the air conditioning industry
  • Graduated in Engineering (building construction, mechanical) or Architect will be a bonus
  • Ambitious, hardworking and eager to learn.
  • You will have a passion for sales and business development.
  • You will have experience with working with different business channels and building new ones
  • You will be able to manage a team and create startegic business plans
  • You will have strong interpersonal skills and have a technical mind in regards to the construction industry
