A Business Development Manager to utilise their experience within aluminium products and / or selling to fabricators to join an Australian Listed company and contribute to their new growth strategy.

Description

Reporting to the Sales Manager, your primary objective is to drive growth within an existing portfolio of Fabricators and to qualify a new fabricator and commercial builders channel with the focus to increase market share. In addition establish a Commercial Builders network that will align with company’s long term strategy. Specifically focusing on the window and door fabrication sector.

The main objectives are:

  • Liaising with the Sales Manager, Implement sales and marketing strategies that will effectively increase growth with your existing portfolio.
  • Ascertain market activity to provide insight and make recommendations that will add value to your clients.
  • Ensure to be knowledgeable of market trends allowing a proactive and responsive engagement through all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure market demands are met
  • Drive new product development within your existing portfolio and new business.
  • Prospect and deliver new business across the various market sectors in relation to new product development.
  • Strategically identify and engage with the key decision makers, ascertain their needs, influence a sales process and deliver an end to end solution effectively closing the deal.
  • Liaise closely with the Account Managers to ensure prospective opportunities are actioned, effectively maximising opportunities
  • Achieve key performance deliverables, volume of new customers acquired per month, value of new customers acquired, and quality of customer experience aligned to company strategy and values.
  • Ensure all sales activities and communication to clients are inputted in the CRM, in order to effectively manage client expectations and ensure all deliverables are executed.
  • Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures.

Profile

  • Have sold to or worked with fabricators
  • Ideal - window and door fabrication experience
  • Ideal - experience working with builders on commercial sites
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team contributing to leads and achieving a common goal
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a hunter mentality.
  • Commercially acute and strategic.

Job Offer

  • Remuneration is subject to experience + super + fully maintained company vehicle or $15,000 car allowance + tools of trade + bonus
