We’re looking for someone with exceptional account management experience to take on our biggest single customer portfolio, BWS which sits within the Endeavour Drinks Group (Woolworths business).

There are several success factors to winning with this major customer group, including collaborative and authentic value add relationships, influencing key stakeholders at the national and state level, optimising trade investment, and leadership of the total category agenda. You’ll do this by continuing to evolve, challenge, and think differently to scale new heights and drive momentum and mutually profitable sales and share growth.

 

This is a huge role but to summarise what you’ll do:
 

  • Be the primary account contact that develops the customer joint business plans and strategies for F19 and beyond to deliver significant growth within Diageo
  • Manage the day to day trading negotiations, influence and deliver commercial objectives for the account across the total brand portfolio with specific deliverables within sub categories whilst also working with the Dan’s account manager to deliver cross category growth synergies where appropriate
  • Use strong commercial acumen to ensure the account’s needs, in turn, are reflected in the trade strategy and brand/category strategies
  • Seek out new opportunities for our portfolio and for partnering within the account and builds and influences relationships within that organisation.
  • Collaborate by sharing learning’s and insights with other National, Key Account Managers, and State Managers in Diageo.
  • Partner with the Customer Marketing Team to ensure our goals and objectives across ambient and cold space are achieved
  • Work closely with your stakeholders to ensure accurate stock forecasts and activity which has the ability to increase/decrease requirements is proactively managed

 

What you'll bring:
 

  • Previous National Account Management experience in Liquor or FMCG
  • Strong analytical capability in translating critical category and commercial insights into compelling customer opportunities that drive growth
  • Highly refined negotiation skills with proven track record of successful negotiation and delivery of annual promotional program with national customers or equivalent
  • Experience in managing the category review process to achieve highly successful outcomes
  • Experienced and fully self-sufficient commercial & financial acumen through the full P&L both internal and customer
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
