Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager’s main objective is to utilise and further develop their skills and experience within waste management to increase sales growth for their market. To establish a qualified and profitable pipeline within their industry sector and provide waste management solutions that will align to their client's needs and to the business strategy.

Description

  • To identify and generate opportunities within the market and establishing relationships by providing effective waste management and recycling solutions for your client.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders to establish the best tailored solution to your client and to be delivered in a cost effective manner.
  • Apply strong commercial acumen and project management skill. Ability to ascertain client requirements and delivery a consultative and add value solution
  • To develop and implement sales strategies that will facilitate in meeting sales targets
  • Apply analytical and strong attention to detail attributes to client pipeline management and matrix applications. Through process management and monitoring all CRM activities, identify opportunities for existing clients to grow their accounts by offering ad-value solutions.
  • Apply strong negotiation skills to influence and achieve sales growth.
  • Engage in a professional and consultative manner with clients and establishing New Business in both existing and new markets.
  • Liaise with internal teams and senior management with market activities in order to forecast and effectively respond to all relevant industry activities.
  • Develop and implement infrastructures that will support in identifying opportunities with existing clients and New Business Development
  • Prepare presentations to clients
  • Contribute to Sales meetings
  • Monitor and ensure all activities are compliant with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements

Profile

  • Business Development Manager with hunter mentality when searching new revenue streams
  • Business to Business experience in the service industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and highly organised
  • Analytical and negotiating skills
