SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

OTE $130,000

Base salary is $80,000 + super with OTE up to $130,000  meeting growth and development targets.

The De Stoops Group including Australian Opal Cutters and Australian Pearl Divers are looking for a Sales and Marketing to direct the control and coordination of all advertising, sales and marketing activities throughout the organisations international channels and distribution networks.

Based in the Sydney CBD this dynamic role will involve all areas of planning, organising and developing new channels within the exciting Cruise Ship sales arena as well as the rapidly expanding consignment market.

Your role will be extensive, dynamic and challenging as you open new doors of opportunity and provide an excellent service to existing channels. Your relationships in the industry will ensure that you provide an industry-leader service with excellence in team training, seamless product delivery and proven expertise in developing documentation, systems and processes.

The successful applicant will show proven ability to direct the development of viable sales strategies and a track record at implemented strategies. A key attribute will also be the ability to set sales targets with the express goal of maximising an organisation's sales and improving and sustaining customer loyalty. Your previous roles must show a clear ability to direct the development and implementation of strategic plans which to promote an organisation's goods and services to specific audiences

Indicative Skill Level: (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).

A level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification if the detail of related employment can show proof of having been required to develop, direct, implement and manage sales strategies with defined targets.


Tasks Include:

  • directing the development and implementation of sales strategies and setting sales targets in order to maximise an organisation's sales and customer loyalty
  • directing the development and implementation of strategies to promote an organisation's goods and services to as many people as possible
  • directing the development and implementation of strategies to generate increased consumption of an organisation's goods and services through the creation and reinforcement of 'brand image' or 'brand loyalty'
  • directing the development and implementation of strategies to build and maintain an organisation's image and reputation with its customers, investors and the wider public

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop Sales Strategies,
  • Source, establish, maintain Business Opportunities,
  • Negotiate Concessions and Consignments,
  • Arrange and Co-Ordinate Schedules / Book Vendors,
  • Develop Cruise Schedules,
  • Manage Cruise Ship Sales,
  • Manage Budgets and Accounts Procedures,
  • Manage Logistics team, internal transfers, stock check accuracy,
  • Manage all Vendor logistics (onloads, offloads, inventory adjustments, security and customs),

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS

  • Track record has shown your ability to grow business throughout various Cruise ship channels,
  • Good long-term relationships with major Cruise concessionaires in a managerial or business development capacity,
