Your solid experience maximising key client relationships whilst overseeing the sales team, will be a key element in you securing this rewarding role.

Our client is a very successful, privately owned, engineering consulting group who have gone from strength to strength since their commencement some 9 years ago.  With a client base that includes Australia's largest commercial and industrial energy users, they are seeking a professional Sales Director who can deliver first class results when expanding their range of ENERGY efficiency engineering projects.   

Our ideal candidate will have a solid commercial background that includes comprehensive knowledge and experience delivering outcomes that realise significant business growth within existing client groups, whilst providing leadership to the sales team.

This integral role within the senior leadership team has responsibilities that include:

  • Providing key account management to large organisations and Government bodies, throughout Australia.
  • Managing a number of allocated strategic channels by offering their clients a range of related services.
  • Identifying and participating in pro-active business development initiatives including participating in industry events and meetings.
  • Participating in product development that includes continuous improvement of existing products and services.
  • Guiding and supporting your sales team that includes implementing initiatives to improve team performance.
  • Working closely with technical teams to ensure high level client presentations.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Monitoring market developments, communicating this to staff.
  • Ability to meet budget and other financial objectives.

Your skills should include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience selling complex technical solutions to large clients, preferably related to energy.
  • Ability to analyse technical data, relaying it succinctly and convincingly about complex concepts.
