Himmel Account Manager – Rosebery

The opportunity!

We currently have a rewarding opportunity for a strategic and well-rounded experienced Account Manager to join our Himmel team to seek out opportunities to continue to grow our business.

The purpose of the role will be to target both the new construction and building refurbishment market, influencing Architects, Building Managers and Builders across commercial and domestic segments.

You will be based in Rosebery however your interactions will see you travel across the wider Sydney metro area and provides an exciting platform for further growth as we strive to become Australia's most professional and trusted supplier in the commercial interiors market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Target the Commercial Ceilings contractors understanding what projects they are working on and building relationships and action plans with them to grow both of our businesses, adopting a consultative approach;
  • Develop project specific strategies to secure customer commitment;
  • Working in a dynamic competitive market where you can make a big difference;
  • Leverage existing industry networks to gain access and influence decision makers;
  • Partner closely with, and act as the interiors expert for our range of interior solutions;
  • Grow the primary demand for our range of products and systems;
  • Drive growth in all relevant segments, ranging from Architects, Distributors, Contractors, Building Owners and GTC Network;
  • Working with the wider Himmel and overall NSW Lightweight Systems teams to leverage their networks;
  • Actively target new direct business, manage existing customer requirements, and develop intimate product knowledge and tactics to beat our competitors;
  • Contribute towards national initiatives and business strategy.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role, you’ll be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role selling to the commercial construction market (experience in ceilings or commercial interior fit outs will be highly desirable)
  • Exceptional business development and territory management expertise to influence, affect and deliver value
  • Strong communication skills both verbal & written
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build long term working relationships
  • A high level of enthusiasm and hunger to succeed in a business that is growing rapidly!
