The Role

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for growing our brands through your sensational relationship building skills.  This role will be specifically looking after our National Key Account customers within the South East Melbourne territory.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Visiting your customers on a regular call cycle to help drive growth and maximise opportunity for the customer and the business
  • Developing strong customer engagement through a collaborative approach
  • Developing and executing promotional plans with customers, ensuring adherence to compliance
  • Demonstrate knowledge of competitor activities, strategies, pricing, client objections, & local market characteristics through various reporting mechanisms

About You

You are highly motivated and energetic individual. You can think on your feet and more often than not you will think outside the box. Your attention to detail and ability to plan ahead and be organised will see you succeed in this position.

The successful applicant will possess the following:

  • Experience in working within a sales environment would be highly regarded
  • Exposure to FMCG or grocery will be advantageous
  • The motivation to not just meet but exceed expectations and goals
  • Demonstrated high level of customer service and relationship building
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise work
  • Exceptional negotiations skills
  • Proactive, resilient and self-motivated person
