BDM role within Bathware - Mirrors and accessories, develop wholesales channel

Your new company
The company are an Australian subsidiary of a large and highly successful European Bathware manufacturer. They have been supplying quality mirrors, cabinets and accessories for the last ten years through the retail channel and also directly into Construction projects. The Australian business is currently operating out of Melbourne and Sydney, and with ambitious growth plan in place there is an opportunity for an experiences sales representative to join the Sydney region.


Your new role
As the Sydney BDM your responsibilities will include the following;

  • Reporting into the Operations Manager and driving sales of the company’s full product range in the Sydney region
  • Developing relationship with major and independents Bathware retailers in with the aim of winning both local and national supply contracts
  • Respond to incoming enquires from customers and providing quotations
  • Managing the sales cycle for all Sydney customers from enquiry to close
  • Maintaining an effective face to face call cycle for customers
  • Weekly reporting and budget forecasting
  • Providing customers with product information and relevant marketing collateral
  • Meet monthly sales targets



What you'll need to succeed
The role will report into Melbourne head office but be based in Sydney. As the only BDM for Sydney at the moment, the role is naturally autonomous and will require somebody very self-sufficient and self-motivated. As the ideal candidate, you will have the following;

  • BDM experience within Bathware wholesale and Retail channel
  • Contacts within and knowledge of the buying groups within major Bathware and Plumbing retailers
  • Be driven by commission and meeting sales targets
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently and manage your own call cycle
