ABOUT YOUR FUTURE POSITION

As a self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude, exceptional interpersonal skills and strong resilience, you intend to leverage your leadership skills to gain market share and identify new revenue channels. Your driver is to institute a results focussed sales team with accountability for all (including yourself). Your key result activities include conducting weekly sales and customer service meetings to ensure the teams are on track to achieve and exceed budgets, team motivation activities, counselling, and skills development.

You will be rewarded for exercising your key strengths of business acumen; propelling a new client customer base initiative nationally; undertaking market intelligence activities; setting and achieving financial key performance indicators; developing and executing sales plans and building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.

You will enjoy utilising your superior sales and customer centric skills to significantly increase sales, drive brand awareness, manage and develop a sales team of 3 and continue to build the company’s reputation for high quality products and solutions for customers.

You will be working out of the Yandina office, on the Sunshine Coast. This role involves interstate travel.

ABOUT YOU

You have gained at least 10-15 years’ experience in a sales environment (Building | Construction industry essential) and have qualifications in business and | or sales (highly regarded).

You are an A player and understand the importance of mentoring and developing A players on your team.

Your experience includes:

  • Actively pursuing the extension of existing markets and developing new ones
  • Analysis and planning - sales forecasting and budgeting
  • Maintaining good working relationships with internal customer service personnel and external suppliers
  • Building valued and trusted relationships with prospects and clients
  • Track record of big wins - securing strategic new clients and closing important deals
  • Achieving key performance indicators
  • Ongoing self-development
  • People management and development
  • Managing and controlling a sales team’s activities
  • Holding team members accountable for achieving lead and lag key performance indicators
  • Working knowledge of height safety systems e.g. anchor points, static lines and high access systems (desirable)
  • Working in a team focused on goal achievement (essential)
  • Working in Building | Construction industry (essential)
  • Marketing program development and execution (preferred but not essential)
