What's the role?
We're seeking a highly driven and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our Advertising Sales team. This role will manage a busy SME portfolio across a diverse range of TAS Country SME clients. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing digital and print advertising initiatives, servicing the evolving advertising needs of our customer base whilst generating new business opportunities. This is a truly exciting opportunity to solidify your media sales career and to represent several iconic household names across Tasmania.
Who you are
You'll have proven experience within a sales role and good knowledge of B2B sales and business development activities. As your role will involve increasing revenue through growing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities, you'll be a strong communicator with solid relationship building skills and prospecting capability. You're a true people person who thrives when dealing with SME clients. You'll be able to showcase your strong influencing capability and problem solving skills when selling our digital and print products to our long-term existing client base.
A background in the media industry is desirable however not essential. You'll be particularly digitally savvy with commercial astuteness to sell digital advertising solutions across various platforms. You'll be driven to succeed and have demonstrated success in building and growing strong and profitable working relationships. You will also have your own vehicle and current driver's license. What's next?
This is part-time position, specifically 32.5 working hours per week / 4.5 days. This role can be based out of either our Hobart and Launceston office depending on successful candidate's preference.
