About the business and the role

Central Innovation sources, builds and advises on world-class design process solutions to the AEC and Manufacturing industries. We have over 25 years of experience advising our customers on optimising their design, processes and systems by using the world's most capable design and modelling software, run on the highest performing hardware, utilising the best people. 

Summary of this positon:

As a member of the Telesales team you will be tasked with uncovering New Business opportunities. This will be achieved by drawing on solid telesales capabilities in relation to our product portfolio and through the follow up of marketing campaigns over the phone and via email. Over time you will develop an intimate understanding of our customer’s business needs through an understanding of where our products and services add real value.

Responsibilities include:

  • Follow-up on leads from web enquiries, direct mail, trade shows and other activities (including qualification).
  • Pursue lead generation through call prospecting and qualification of all leads
  • Prospecting and account qualification to add leads to the sales pipeline. 
  • Identify contacts within prospect companies and customers
  • Working with our Sales & Marketing teams to identify potential opportunities and build lead generation campaigns
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date with our software
  • Production of reports using our CRM.
  • Pre-event calling and post-event follow up
  • Maintain accurate records - update information within our CRM and reports

Qualifications/Skills/Experience preferred:

  • Experience in cold calling 
  • Ability to overcome obstacles in the prospect’s or current customer’s decision making process.
  • Highly motivated, driven and results oriented, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Self-driven with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Able to articulate clearly with the ability to establish rapport quickly with prospects.
  • Strong computer skills including CRM software and MS Outlook.
