As a result of further growth, we need a gun sales closer to join the team - a savvy operator and motivated networker who is comfortable driving growth in a competitive yet target-rich environment.  You need to be able to build a qualified pipeline and to generate/close new business opportunities for our products and services. 

 

Job tasks and responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, Commercial & Industrial, the primary responsibility of this role is to drive revenue growth by meeting/exceeding sales targets through the sale of a range of products and services to Single and Multisite Business customers.

 

  • Develop new business through partner referrals, as well as direct customer prospecting
  • Presenting proposals and selling solutions for both short and long term energy requirements
  • Delivering an outstanding customer experience in support of our strategy
  • Supporting the team in a fast-paced, hands-on business

 

Skills and Experience:

As a highly motivated sales specialist, sales exec or sales manager you will have proven success in winning new and developing existing business clients through face to face sales activities.  You will have a pro-active and collaborative approach to building customer relationships, and possess excellent time management skills to complement our flexible and autonomous working environment.

  • A motivated self-starter who can build a portfolio of business clients, identifying and closing opportunities under your own direction
  • Broad energy market insight with strong experience in energy efficiency solutions and renewables i.e. Solar and LED
  • Strong sales history with proven experience in Solar and LED sales to B2B Single and Multisite customers
  • Track record of building sales pipelines and converting into new business sales
  • Passion for new tech, renewables, and socially responsible energy solutions
  • Ability to work across clients, suppliers, and partners to close the deal
  • A genuine interest in helping customers achieve their goals, balanced with the delivery of win/win sales outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
