Entire Concrete is a well-established growing company that provides concrete to residential, commercial and industrial projects throughout Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. We are now looking for a motivated and self-driven Sales Rep with experience in the ready-mix concrete, building materials, mining or construction sectors to drive the next stage of our growth.
You will be responsible for all concrete sales activities related to target, development and retention customers and to facilitate company efforts to successfully take care of customers and resolve customer concerns to establish a solid relationships as a preferred material supplier of choice.
Key Tasks:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with decision makers and those who influence their decision as to who supplies their concrete and concrete pumping.
- Develop and maintain a list of target and development customers and build strong relationships with them in order to meet new sales goals.
- Resolve customer issues fairly and in a timely manner.
- Assist credit department with collections.
- Follow, track and understand national and local economic trends and developments that impact the local ready mix market.
- Be involved in trade associations, Area Chambers and State and Local meetings.

Position Requirements:
- 2+ years sales experience required; Experience in Concrete, Aggregates, Ad Mix and/or Construction companies highly preferred.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally, externally and with clients.
- Ability to multi-task; be a problem solver and solution provider.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Efficient time-management skills, ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Clean driving record (last 5 years)
- Computer skills including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience with Public Entities (State, County, City governments, etc.).
- Experience working with general contractors, estimators and bidding on projects.
- Background in construction and/or manufacturing of construction products and materials.
- Prior experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools and/or customer contact databases
The successful applicant must be able to work as directed and follow Chain of Command and OHS obligations.
The successful applicant will also need to pass a company medical including drug and alcohol testing.
