The Opportunity

Our client is a national market leader in the Commercial interiors building products market and is poised for significant growth nationally providing an exciting platform as they strive to become Australia's most professional and trusted supplier in the Commercial interiors sector.

We currently have a new and exciting opportunity for a highly driven Business Development Manager to join our growing national business. Reporting to the NSW State Sales Manager, the purpose of the role will be to target Architects, Interior Designers and Tier 1 and Tier 2 Builders across commercial market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Seeking out opportunities to grow our business with a consultative approach to secure specification and ultimately project supply.
  • Developing project specific strategies to secure customer commitment.
  • Partnering closely with the Lightweight Systems team, and act as our commercial interior systems specification champion.
  • Driving growth across commercial segments and influencing Architects, Interior Designers and Tier 1 and Tier 2 Builders.
  • Tracking projects from specification to delivery.

  • Exceptional business development and territory management expertise to influence, effect change and deliver value.
  • A strong network of contacts within the architectural and interior design industries will be highly advantageous.

  • A level of intuition and ability to anticipate customers' needs and drivers.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
