An incredibly exciting opportunity has arisen within a global leader of Cyber security solutions for an experienced and hardworking Account Manager to join them based out of their Sydney office.  With offices around the globe, this Gartner Magic Quadrant recognised leader is continuing to grow.  As an Account Manager you will be responsible for working with key accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention is of the highest order.  Along with this you will upsell, cross sell and increase revenue through selling of new software & services.  

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Execute on your developed account strategy inside your territory.
  • Develop and grow key relationships as well as working with the channel and partners.
  • Upsell, cross sell and deliver new revenue in designated accounts
  • Build strong relationships through customer interaction i.e. phone, email, webex, F2F.
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders across the business and the customer.
  • Accurate reporting and effective use of CRM system.
  • Attain and exceed agreed quota.
Experience Needed
  • Worked in Account Management roles in the IT/Technology space preferably within a genuine software/SaaS environment.
  • 4+ years account management experience.
  • Genuinely understand solution selling and demonstrate this
  • Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced
  • Have strong business & commercial nous whereby you can negotiate deals, contracts & SLAs in key accounts
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Be a team player, yet be a self-starter that can work autonomously as well
