Who we are
TOMRA is the world’s leading reverse vending machine manufacturer. Cleanaway is Australia’s leading waste management company. Together we have formed a joint venture to be the Network Operator for Return and Earn – the NSW Container Deposit Scheme (CDS). We will provide handling, transport, processing, recycling and data services through a world-class network of reverse vending machines, and supporting the NSW community to reduce littler volume by 40% by 2020. We see waste as a resource and the NSW CDS gives us the chance to drive that value through recycling.
The Position
We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our fast paced and agile team at TOMRA Cleanaway. Reporting to the Contracts & Compliance Manager you will be responsible for customer management, retaining and finding new business and reaching sales targets in accordance to organisational metrics in your defined region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieve business metrics through effective negotiations with new and existing customers
- Ability to retain business through strong relationship management
- Provide a high standard of customer service
- Business development and regular sales reporting
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies
- Collaboration with internal teams to maximize cross selling opportunities
About You
To be successful for this position you will have experience in sales within a customer management role and be results focused. If you have a passion for customer service and are looking to take the next step in your career, this could be the right role for you. You will also require the following:
- Ability to generate sales
- Ability to manage and retain business
- Work well under pressure, find opportunity and drive business
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to think outside the box and problem solve
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- Experience using (CRM) Customer Relationship Management software would be advantageous
