The Company

Due to steady growth, this well-known and widely used European manufacturer of electrical distribution, home automation and protection equipment is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to further grow their project business in NSW. Focused on the multi-dwelling residential and commercial markets, this business has enjoyed consistent growth in market share and is looking to become the premier supplier to some of Australia’s most iconic construction projects.


The Position

This role best suits a genuine hunter with contacts across tier 1, 2 and 3 Design and Construct Electrical Contractors, and NSW based electrical wholesale project businesses. Targeting medium to high density and mixed use residential construction projects, the ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn new skills, a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and understand how to influence stakeholders across design, construction and procurement.



Key Skills and Competencies Required

  • Electrical Engineering degree or trade qualification is essential
  • Sound knowledge of low voltage electrical distribution, from switchboards to lighting controls
  • Existing industry relationships preferred - D&C Electrical Contractors and wholesale project branches
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales budgets and targets
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Tenacity, ambition and drive
