With strong network growth in the last financial year and further expansion plans for the future, we are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive professional to fill the role of Business Development Manager – Automobile, based at our Head office in Melbourne.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, this role is responsible for managing a dedicated dealer network team in Victoria, to maximize sales opportunity and exceed customer satisfaction objectives.
Working closely with our Southern Region team members, the Business Development Manager’s functions will include but are not restricted to:
- Development of Dealer Action Plans to assist Dealers to achieve retail sales and exceed customer satisfaction objectives
- Performing analysis of Dealers operations to identify opportunities and improvements and assist with implementation
- Assist Dealers in enquiry tracking and prospect management
- Work closely with Suzuki After Sales to maximize the performance of all facets of the Dealers business including accessories, service and parts
- Undertaking product training with Dealer sales staff to enhance product knowledge
- Stock management, ensuring Dealers have appropriate stock to maximize sales opportunities
- Identify Dealer Development and Corporate business opportunities in their region
- Play a leading role in the partnership with your dealer network
The selected applicant will be a team player, able to work with minimal supervision, have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, be customer focused, performance oriented and be available for regular business travel.
A background in sales or marketing within the automotive industry, in either a distribution or retail environment, is essential.
An appropriate remuneration package will be provided to the successful applicant.
