Our client is an iconic household name serving more than 100 countries worldwide; a leading marketer, distributor and producer of quality branded automotive and industrial products and services. Products include automotive lubricants, transmission fluids, gear oils, hydraulic lubricants, filters, car care products, automotive chemicals, specialty products, greases and cooling system products.
  
This role, reporting to the State Regional Manager will be based out of the Newcastle/Central Coast region and will drive new growth across all aspects of sales. The critical focus is on relationship building, forging strong partnerships with key accounts and naturally new business opportunities. Utilising demonstrated prior success you will bring not only a thirst for results but a naturally effective personal style, a leader, collaborator and team player.
  
Working closely with the Senior Product Manager, relevant departmental heads and Territory Managers you will analyse the region, take initiative with all prospects with a sense of urgency yet also bring strategic big picture thinking to plan for the present and the future.

To be considered for this role you must possess the following:
  • Demonstrated field based sales success and expertise within fast paced manufacturing environments 
  • Demonstrated experience in area/account/sales management and new business development
  • Have well developed communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Possess strong administration, report writing and written communication skills, with a high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office programs
