Samios Plumbing Supplies is a proudly Australian owned and operated business. We are looking to add an experienced Sales Representative who is a self-motivated sales hunter and relationship builder to our team based in North Lakes.
The purpose of the role is to grow our sales and revenue base with existing customers but primarily seeking out new business opportunities.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include, yet are not limited to:
- Maximising branch sales and profitability
- Planning and implementing strategies to generate and grow sales
- Growing business with existing and new Customers
- Maintaining account and call plans including activity
- Monitoring product pricing and trading margins
- Capitalising on sales and margin opportunities
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
We need a dynamic and enthusiastic sales professional who is able to build relationships and think creatively. The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Demonstrated experience in field sales, territory management and maintaining call plans within a trade sales environment.
- Plumbing knowledge or trade background.
- Well-developed organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
- Previous sales experience, promoting Residential, Commercial, Civil product ranges as well as experience building partnerships with key accounts and plumbing and building contractors.
- Aptitude to learn and understand our product range
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Current and valid Driver’s License
A current and valid driver's licence is essential for this position.
