Investor Relations Senior Account Manager

One of Australia’s fastest growing boutique investor and media relations advisory firm with an innovative, integrated approach is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join their dynamic investor relations team.

Reporting to an Associate Director in the Investor Relations team:

This full time position will see you responsible for managing a portfolio of ASX-listed clients, predominantly in the tech, fintech space, with some exposure to healthcare and biotech.

Working alongside some of Australia’s leading and most innovative start-ups and small cap ASX listed companies, you will provide strategic advice to clients re investor messaging and advising on specific investor focussed strategy in line with client's goals or events. You will draft and review client's materials, including investor presentations, ASX announcements, Chairman's addresses, shareholder letters, Q&As and content for sections of an annual report/prospectus etc. You will also provide market insights, with access to a Bloomberg terminal, and organise targeted roadshows to brokers, instos and analysts. Working alongside the firm’s media team and reporting to an Associate Director in Investor Relations, you will deliver co-ordinated advice and identify the optimum timing for news flow.

The ideal applicant will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in business, economics, public relations or a relevant field
• A minimum of 4-7 years’ experience in investor relations, corporate broking, communications or relevant related experience in financial markets
• A broad understanding of financial markets and reporting requirements for listed companies
• An ability to understand and interpret financial data
• Excellent account and client management skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
